Online Coordination & Web Services Integration
Seamlessly connected to e-Airportslots.aero web coordination systems for real-time data exchange. E Airportslots.aero is a web-based portal system that interacts with different airport coordination systems worldwide by accessing their core functionalities via web services based on IATA Standard XML Messages.SlotX facilitates real-time data exchange between airlines and the system through an internal web service application based on IATA XML standard schemas. Configuration is managed exclusively by Cohor Services, with any additional development costs borne by the customer. Data exchange is encrypted using TLS 1.2+ security protocols. Multiple airlines, scheduling systems and GABA handlers currently use a webservice in production with SlotX system.
Automatic Message Handling
SlotX’s message handler automatically processes SSIM Chapter 6 messages received by email, provided they are correctly formatted and do not violate airport constraints or user-defined parameters. Automatic processing can be enabled or disabled per airport, season, or airline, and depends on factors such as constraint compliance, historic baseline impact, and minimum/maximum week coverage. Messages that cannot be processed automatically appear in the Message Details screen for manual review, offer creation, and replies. Non-SSIM-compliant messages are marked as rejected but can be corrected and resent. SlotX supports all SSIM Ch.6 messages, with configurable rules.
AODB Connectivity
SlotX enables seamless integration with any AODB system via secure FTP or IATA-compliant web service interfaces. With extensive experience across all AODB providers, we tailor data integration to meet the specific requirements of each airport. The system supports full file transfers or incremental updates containing only modifications, ensuring flexibility. The content, schedule, and frequency of data exchanges are jointly determined and can be adjusted as needed.
Infrastructure modelling & Capacity Limit
SlotX offers flexible airport modelling by allowing users to define individual resources and combine them into a hierarchical airport map. A rule-based system assigns flights to resources using any flight attribute and can adapt usage by time period. Capacity limits (constraints) can be applied to any resource—runways, terminals, stands, or quotas—and can vary by date, time, or day of week. Constraints support fixed or rolling periods, apply to arrivals, departures, or totals, and include options like fictive stand linking. Through its maintenance screens, SlotX lets users fully configure resources, constraints, and groups, enabling accurate modelling of virtually any airport infrastructure.
GABA Expertise
Designed to efficiently handle high volumes of General & Business Aviation (GABA) slot requests, SlotX is used at LBG and NCE, the two largest business aviation airports in the world. Its high performance web services interface enables seamless integration with handlers and brokers, ensuring efficient coordination.
Complete Audit Trail
Every committed change made to the flight database is meticulously recorded in an audit trail table, along with the name of the user and/or the media (Automatic Message Processing, General/Business Aviation Website, Online Coordination) that implemented the change accompanied by a date/timestamp. When a change to a flight record is performed in response to a message (Email or XML), the identifier
of the message is recorded against the change allowing the easy display of the associated message details against each committed change. The timestamp recorded on the audit trail is currently held in Local Time format (CET).
